Jess Graham Studio - Art Is Food-

Seeing great art is inspiring. To everyone I would think? While visiting friends in Waterbury, VT the presence of fun, colourful local art was everywhere. How refreshing!

I noticed a similar style in a few different places around town. Waterburry and Stowe have produced some great artist and is a bustling entrepreneur town, maybe it’s the air up there?

I met Jess Graham in her studio, the artist of the work I had seen around town. Meeting another art monger in her workspace, over a VT brewed beer made for a very fun time. I couldn’t resist and purchased a piece of her work, which is now hung on the wall bringing life and positive energy to the space. Snowboarding...101

This past week I visited my good friend and Stowe local Tom Bryan. For countless years I have hangout with Tom during the summer months and we have chatted at length about snowboarding, biking, boating and rope swinging, both avid fans of all these activities and outdoor enthusiasts. Watching Tom throw his board around like it was a weightless feather was very entertaining and enjoyable. I am no snowboard guru, but comparing him to surfing, Tom has a very creative and relaxed style. Here are a bunch of images from the session.

Kayaking Season Has Opened

Arriving home from a snowboarding session in Stowe, Vermont all my local rivers were raging. With the excitement of getting into my kayak I just couldn't hold back. It was -1 celcuis and the sun was popping out every now and then. When we finished the run I was iced into my pfd and sat in the car to defrost before changing. Possibly the coldest weather I have boated in by far! Not long now till the season really get going! Can't Wait.

Using a helmet for any action spots is essential. Sweet Protection, a Norwegian company make one of the best head protection devices for your melon, the Wanderer. I took some time out while in Norway to read the user manual since most of the time I only read the manual once it breaks. Wise decision? Yip
