Instagram Love
>> Wednesday, November 20, 2013
So I have just started using Instagram! Wow I love it, simple, easy, visually heavy. I posted a badge on the right side of the blog if you want to see my feed or follow me. Alternatively click on the badge below.

The Grand Canyon trip is quickly approaching. I depart for the west coast Dec26th, I need to remind myself to enjoy Christmas and Holidays as much as I can without thinking of the Canyon all the time. I'm still fine tuning my gear list and have had some incredible support from some partners and new ones. But thats another blog post in itself.
Enjoy!

Whitewater King of New York Moose race featured on Canoe and Kayak Blog

I had the opportunity to photograph the Whitewater Kings of New York Moose Race this past weekend. What a race, certainly one of the more exciting races I have shot. Too bad the crowd was at Ager falls instead of at Crystal where all the action happened. Click--> Here is a great write up by Matt Young.

Out Take from a Shoot with Tyler Curtis on the Ottawa
>> Thursday, October 10, 2013
An out take from a very productive shoot with Pro Kayaker Tyler Curtis.
I read a quote this week which reads: " Extra effort always turns simple things into magic"
This quote really made me think of this shot. Every though we scored with some other great images from the shoot, this shot is simple, Tyler's wave wheel is a very simple down river freestyle move. Ha! the wave wheel was invented and perfected years ago, but Tyler is putting effort into waking up at sunrise with me to go shoot. I was standing belly button deep in the water, trying not to get my gear wet.
On another note I will be kayaking the Grand Canyon in Jan, stay tuned for more images and stories to come.
