The Loyalsock River after Hurricane Lee

>> Saturday, December 10, 2011

The river has a more defined path after the hurricane bulldozen it's way through the valley. We put on at 4.5ft, below recommended level on the AW site, to our surprise there was good enough flow with some super fun waves on the lower section. Geren and I surfed and surfed and surfed, next thing we knew it was 4pm and we still had a ways to go. We got out the river just before it was getting dark.  I look forward to exploring this river with more water, there are two great waves to play on which stand out in my mind. On a large level I'm pretty sure there will be some exciting play boat features.
