Monday Video Inspiration

This past weekend my wife, friends and I squeezed into one of Cornell University's auditorium's to enjoy the Banff Mountain Film Festival. I find the festival very inspiring, the mix of films are well selected and peoples stories enjoyable, funny and exciting. I really enjoy seeing the mix of production the most, seeing people out there collecting footage of their trips on all mediums not just the top of the line camera equipment. It really goes to show VISON is BETTER than EQUIPMENT.
I have two shorts I want to share, the first was in the Banff Film Festival and blew me away, I don't ski, never have, I would like to try but not in these conditions:
The next is video which wasn't at Banff but I really like the creativity of it. I have grown up with the Ocean, I now live very far from it and miss everything about it, especially going surfing. I would be happy to go sit on the beach in on of Cape Town's winter storms right now just to be there at the beach.
If this is something which may be constructed I may just be in luck !

Hi Scott, so strange to imagine you guys going to sit in the auditorium at Cornell for Banff Film Festival....as I did for the first time wayyy back in february 2002! It was always one of my favourite nights of the year, racing up from practice to get there in time, and then sitting totally captivated for 3hrs! Unfortunately it doesn't screen in Ireland (despite what the website claims!). Hope you're getting loads of spring kayaking in, I'll be headed to the east coast in July so if you guys are around maybe we'll cross paths!
I went to Banff at UVM and saw the All I Can short...stoked me out so much! I'd love to get creative and do something like that with bikes, boards, or boats!
